Boy PrayingUnlocking the great prayer secret will change your life.  God is looking to unlock super-natural favor, super-natural health, super-natural abundance, super-natural success, super-natural blessing on your life.  This is God’s purpose.  This is God’s plan.  This is God’s design.  This is God’s desire.  This is God’s passion.  This is God’s will.  This is for real.

It’s time to realize that your real potential is unleashed when you find the keys to unlocking God’s potential for your life.

Real prayer.  Effective prayer.  Powerful prayer.  Healing prayer.  These are not descriptions of things only found in the Bible or the history books.  Prayer isn’t just something Jesus did, it’s something you can do as well.  And the great prayer secret is the key to accomplishing everything you want in your prayer life starting today.

The great prayer secret is the connection that is going to unlock a whole new world of possibilities for you.  The great prayer secret is the relationship that is going to revolutionize the way you approach your job, your family, your relationships, your business deals, your health, and more.  The great prayer secret is so revolutionary, in fact, that many people still can’t believe that it’s even possible.

So, what is the great prayer secret?  And how can you unlock it?

Let’s be clear upfront, the great prayer secret is not about how you hold yourself, place yourself, dress yourself, or how eloquent you sound.  It’s not about a formula or a ritual.  It’s not about holy oil or burning incense, repeating the right words or using the right language.  It’s not about where or when you pray, or any other external circumstance or prescription.

Jesus said,

“Have faith in God. I tell you the truth, you can say to this mountain, ‘May you be lifted up and thrown into the sea,’ and it will happen. But you must really believe it will happen and have no doubt in your heart. I tell you, you can pray for anything, and if you believe that you’ve received it, it will be yours. But when you are praying, first forgive anyone you are holding a grudge against, so that your Father in heaven will forgive your sins, too.” – Mark 11

The great prayer secret is that God is not dead or distant, God is alive and present, available and active, ready and willing, capable and invested, powerful and moving, passionate and accessible.

“Have faith in God”

How many times have you prayed not really believing?

How many times have you wanted to believe, wished you did believe, or asked God to give you vision or belief?

How many times have you given up this one key to functional prayer — trusting instead in the habit, the ritual, the practice, the tradition, or the formula of what a prayer “should” sound like?

Jesus didn’t say ask the mountain, “Could you move a bit?”.

Jesus didn’t say to rub a lamp or burn incense and say “I wish this mountain would move into the sea!”

Jesus didn’t say to kneel in a church building and repeat some generic prayer.

Jesus revealed the great prayer secret when he said,

“Have faith in God” and say to the mountain, “May you be lifted up and thrown into the sea”.

Declare it by faith.  Declare it with confidence.  Declare it boldly and without reserve.  Declare it knowing that God has given it to you.  The victory is yours.  God already accomplished it.  So, stand on the foundation of your relationship with God and enjoy the benefits of having a friend who created the universe, who spoke the worlds into existence, who made everything that is, and who desperately wants to bless you.

The great prayer secret is that when you cultivate an actual relationship with God, prayer is no longer a matter of religion or a matter of holy memorization or careful word choice — prayer is simply a conversation about life with one of your closest of friends, who happens to be the most influential and powerful person alive.

And what’s more, the most effective prayers are not questions, they are spoken declarations of God’s promises and blessings.  The most powerful prayers are affirmations of what God wants, wills, and desires to be so.

At its very heart, the most powerful prayer is an expression of confidence and trust — an intimate moment shared between friends, looking at the future, understanding the past, and making choices about the present together by exploring a shared vision, a common goal, and a meaningful meeting of minds and hearts in pursuit of mutual passion for accomplishing a better outcome.

When Jesus said,

“But when you are praying, first forgive anyone you are holding a grudge against, so that your Father in heaven will forgive your sins, too.” – Mark 11

This was a key to unlocking the great prayer secret as well.  Because when you aren’t feeling it, when you can’t find it, when you don’t believe it, and can’t pray it.  When you hear His instruction to “Have faith in God” as a pipe dream or some sort of fantasy for some other time or place, then you know that there is an obstacle between you and God.  And rather than run from that obstacle or be stopped by it, Jesus is suggesting that you can simple remove it.

When you go to declare God’s goodness, but you don’t believe it.  When you go to express confidence, but you feel doubt.  When you go to enjoy God’s presence, but you feel alone.  Forgive someone.

No kidding.  Forgive someone — anyone.  Find something that is still on your mind and release it.  Find someone who needs a blessing — someone who irritates you, bugs you, annoys you, opposes you, or hurt you and declare a blessing over their life before you go to God in prayer about your own.  You will find that when you start blessing those who curse you, hurt you, stand in your way, or prevent you from receiving all that God has in store for you the tables will start turning in your favor — the doubts, fears, hesitations, and worries that were roadblocking your confidence, your faith, and your prayers will be blown away like feathers in the wind.

God is giving you a new life starting today — start declaring God’s promises, God’s purposes, God’s will, and God’s presence over your life and the life of others, and you will discover the greatest prayer secret of them all — that this living, active, present, and powerful God loves you deeply, personally, passionately, and persistently and will do whatever it takes to reach you, bless you, provide for you, and take you to the next level of faith, confidence, trust, and belief if you will step out in faith and boldly declare your relationship with Him and your love for Him.

Go ahead, give it a try, “I love Jesus.” No seriously, I really do.  I love Jesus.  Jesus loves me.  Jesus loves you.  That is the great prayer secret.  Use it wisely.
