Well, it has been about four years since my last weekly inspiration post, and almost eight years since I blogged regularly. Most of you subscribed to this blog and the email newsletter to get weekly inspirations from the Bible, which I used to post every weekend, and if that is what you are looking for I recommend the Life Bible and the YouVersion Bible which both provide daily Bible verses and devotionals for inspiration either online or on your mobile device. That being said, I haven’t stopped my ministry work, sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ, or writing Bible-based content. And so I am excited to announce the soft “relaunch” of this website in support of my new book, The God Hour: A Sixty-Day Leadership Journal.

The God Hour invites leaders to dedicate one focused hour each day to align their leadership with God’s purpose. As a devotional practice it offers sixty concise, impactful reflections that draw wisdom from the Bible and connect it to real-world leadership challenges, encouraging readers to embrace their calling, deepen their faith, and lead with integrity. I wrote this book together with my wife, Galadriel, to help business leaders, executives, folks working in ministry, parents, teachers, and truly anyone looking to live with impact and leave a legacy. We wrote it to unlock some of the greatest secrets to a life well lived. We wrote it to help people discover how to use an hour a day to connect their practical, tangible, everyday leadership decisions with their Creator.

Too many people today are looking for power, influence, money, and control in hopes that when they achieve these milestones they will discover meaning, purpose, mission, and fulfillment only to discover that success doesn’t start on the outside, it is born from the inside. Just as leadership isn’t a persona to be put on, but is an expression of character, integrity, faith, and vision that comes from the inside out and reveals itself in its results, both for better and for worse, so also the practice of leadership requires development from the inside out, starting with an intentional focus on the core values, beliefs, and goals that you set for yourself.
