Friday was defeat, Saturday was despair, Sunday was victory.
“Weeping may last through the night, but joy comes with the morning.” – Psalm 30
Are you ready for your resurrection? Are you ready for life — abundant, blessed, and whole? Are you ready to let go of your fear, your doubt, your hurts, your tears? Are you ready to be born again?
Jesus promised,
“No, I will not abandon you as orphans—I will come to you. Soon the world will no longer see me, but you will see me. Since I live, you also will live. When I am raised to life again, you will know that I am in my Father, and you are in me, and I am in you.” – John 14
Jesus rose from the grave. Jesus conquered death. Jesus is with you right now. Jesus is alive. Jesus is God. Jesus is available. Jesus is ready.
“Jesus came and told his disciples, ‘I have been given all authority in heaven and on earth. Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you. And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age.'” – Matthew 28
All authority. All power. Not some. Not part. Not maybe. Not just heaven.
“I have been given all authority in heaven and on earth.” – Jesus
Your problems? Your sins? Your challenges? Your obstacles? Your defeats?
It’s time to put them on Jesus. Place them in His powerful, capable hands. Nail them to the cross.
“Since we believe that Christ died for all, we also believe that we have all died to our old life. He died for everyone so that those who receive his new life will no longer live for themselves. Instead, they will live for Christ, who died and was raised for them. So we have stopped evaluating others from a human point of view. At one time we thought of Christ merely from a human point of view. How differently we know him now! This means that anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun!” – 2 Corinthians 5
Come as you are. Stop waiting, delaying, hesitating, doubting, pausing. Stop making excuses for your brokenness. Stop justifying your diseases, your malfunctions, your imperfections, your failures, your weaknesses, your sins. Stop defending the presence of the enemy in your life. Stop accepting the lies, the misinformation, the corruption, and the damage that the enemy uses to enslave you.
It’s time to accept God’s amazing grace because God is offering you a whole new life — successful, peaceful, blessed, abundant, prosperous, healthy, and full of joy.
This is the truth. This is the fact. This is the reality.
I’ve heard excuses from the intellectual and academic to the simple and the fearful. Doubts come in every shade from anger to depression to despair. God has heard them all.
And none of them change what God is actually offering you.
Have a bad family life? Wishing you had been raised by healthy believers instead of the brazenly dysfunctional people you called parents?
Stuck in a dead end job? Hoping for a connection, a relationship, or an opportunity to find where you can actually make a difference?
Facing a challenge in your health? Seen the doctor’s report and wondering what your future holds?
At the cross Jesus faced every doubt, every fear, every despair, every defeat, every disease, every dysfunction, every human failing, even death itself — Jesus faced the enemy, planted His flag, drew a line in the sand, and said,
“It is finished” – John 19
Once and for all. Now and forever. For you. For me. For everyone.
“For this is how God loved the world: He gave His one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life. God sent His Son into the world not to judge the world, but to save the world through Him.” – John 3
It is time. You can do this. Don’t wait anymore. Today is your day. Right now is your moment. Jesus is ready.
Pray with me.
“Jesus I believe in you. All of my sins. All of my baggage. All of my history I place in your hands. I’m letting go of the addictions, the fears, the insecurities, the doubts, the diseases, the defeats, the hurts, and the death that the enemy has given and has planned for me. I’m nailing it all to the cross. I’m stepping across the line. I commit my life to you Jesus. I make you my God, my Lord, my Savior, by the power of your name, Jesus Christ. Amen.”
If you prayed that prayer I believe you were born again. Get in a good Bible based church. Read the Bible every day. Talk to God every day about everything. Don’t hold anything back. Connect with other believers.
God’s answers are always simple. God’s answers always work.
So, worship, pray, serve, connect, bless, and make a difference where you are.
It’s time to start believing. Give God a chance because He is going to take you places beyond your biggest and best dreams.
“Eight days later the disciples were together again, and this time Thomas was with them. The doors were locked; but suddenly, as before, Jesus was standing among them. ‘Peace be with you,’ he said. Then he said to Thomas, ‘Put your finger here, and look at my hands. Put your hand into the wound in my side. Don’t be faithless any longer. Believe!’ ‘My Lord and my God!’ Thomas exclaimed. Then Jesus told him, ‘You believe because you have seen me. Blessed are those who believe without seeing me.'” – John 20
