When God considers what He has to offer in any specific situation, He is not looking for what He can get away with, the bare minimum that He can offer and still be respected, or the least amount of effort that He can put into it and still come out with the relationship intact. God is looking to maximize His impact, invest for the greatest return, and provide everything and more than simply what we need.
“If you give, you will receive. Your gift will return to you in full measure, pressed down, shaken together to make room for more, and running over. Whatever measure you use in giving — large or small — it will be used to measure what is given back to you.” – Luke 6
God is not holding back from blessing you. God is offering every kind of blessing. He is working all the time to provide every manner of good thing. It is not only by design, but also through His constant work, intention, and interaction with you individually and specifically that He is focussed on reaching you with His super-natural abundance and overflowing favor. God’s desire, more than anything is to bring you victory, prosperity, and well being. Not just momentarily now and again, but consistently, every moment of every day from now to forever.
However, when you are in challenging circumstances, facing obstacles, or dreading the possibilities coming against you in some area of your life — whether at work, or in a relationship, or with your finances, or effecting your health, or however it is that the enemy is pressing in on you and holding you back — the negative feelings of stress, tension, pressure, and frustration are not evidence of failure or of God being absent or beyond reach. On the contrary, it is in the moments that you are tested that you will discover the depth and preparation that goes into the blessings that God has in store for you.
Pay attention to the details. Take a moment to reflect on the choices that you have in front of you. Step back from the negative emotions and consider what God may be doing behind the scenes. Find those relationships that are going to support you. And more than that, those relationships that are going to take you to the next level. Move away from the voices of defeat, fear, and doubt and clear your mind to ready yourself for insight, strength, and victory.
Faith is not the result of confidence or a blind assertion of an unknowable insight. Faith is the result of a relationship with God and that relationship is the foundation of a deep-seated and lasting confidence. God is not asking you to believe in something unknown, unseen, or beyond your ability to experience. God is offering you the opportunity to experience super-natural goodness, super-natural blessing, super-natural favor, and so much more for yourself — first hand. No matter what is coming against you today, no problem, no issue, no situation is bigger or stronger than God. He knows where you are. He knows what you are facing. And most of all, He knows what you are capable of. Even more than you know yourself, God knows you. He understands all the reasons why and all the levels involved. He knows the entire history and everything leading up to right now. And most of all, God is ready to provide for you in ways that you cannot even imagine.
Even in the face of that doctor’s report, or that person at work that is so hard to get along with. Even when you don’t feel very special, or when you can’t see your way clear to an answer. No matter where you find yourself today, God is coming with everything that He brings to the table – power, passion, purpose, mission, love, peace, favor, success, abundance, prosperity, health, wisdom, insight, confidence, ability, and so much more. God is coming with everything that He has to focus on how He can bless you.
So, stop believing the lies that the enemy is telling you. Stop listening to the voices that are saying nothing ever changes, nothing ever improves, nothing ever turns out right. Stop empowering defeat and instead start receiving the victory. Listen for the voice of God in your heart. He is speaking words of blessing over your life. And with God, it’s not just words because He backs up everything that He says with the necessary actions to make it happen. His promises are sure. He is on the way.
“It is the same with My word. I send it out, and it always produces fruit. It will accomplish all I want it to, and it will prosper everywhere I send it.” – Isaiah 55
